Hi there, I’m a publisher and editorial consultant here in Rockport, MA (curranpress.com). I just found this page in a search for local author conferences. Can you tell me more about the author-signing events? Are they a forum for authors to sell and sign books to readers? Is it also a learning event? I’d love to hear more. Thank you in advance! Hello Damaris,

This event happens annually in Peabody. It is a 4 hour signing where all the attending authors are in one large room. They each are set up at tables where they sell their own books. Unless they are traditionally published in which case we have the local Barnes & Nobel on-site to sell for them (then you can go have it signed).

The only aspect of this event that is learning at this time is just finding and learning about new authors. Maybe in the future we will branch out to do some seminars or something.

Our next event is set to take place on April 9, 2016. We hope to see you there!
