Our 7th Annual Talkbooks Author Event
*Please take notice that we have changed our usual date of the second Saturday of April and we have pushed our 2020 date back to accommodate for Easter weekend.
TAE 2020 will be held on April 19, 2020 in Burlington, MA at the Boston Marriott Burlington. A town just North of Boston.
2020 UPDATE: Our invitations are out. Author Announcements are happening now via our social media pages (come find us). We will update the full list here soon. But in the mean time, if you want to be in the know, follow our pages and/or join our Facebook group.
#TAE2020 TICKETS GO ON SALE ON OCTOBER 1st
INTERESTED AUTHORS: We’d first like to thank you greatly for your interest in our event. Before you continue, we’d like for you to know that we take our invitation process very seriously. We look at each and every single interested author and take them into consideration before choosing and sending invitations.
We know that there are many authors who are extremely interested in attending 2020, but we ask for you to PLEASE remain positive and to not lose faith in the possibility of attending as a signing author. Although we wish we could, we just can’t fit everyone.
So in full disclosure, we’d like for you to know, that in the end, the list of possible authors to fill our limited number of spots is very long. Every year we usually have over 300 authors such as yourself, sign up as interested. Plus along with hundreds of others who we, and our readers want to meet and discover. BUT with that being said, our fingers are crossed that we can make it happen for YOU. If not for 2020 then maybe 2021 (I can’t believe I just typed that)! 😉
Regardless of what side of the table you’ll be on, we really hope to see you at #TAE2020! So right now we will highly encourage and suggest…that if come January you do not get an invitation (and that if possible) you consider attending the event as a reader instead. We don’t know about you, but we think that being a supportive game player is what this industry should be all about. And showing face while getting to know your fellow peers, and readers, is a great way to expand and grow yourself. So please keep in mind, that even just attending as a reader, it is a great experience all on its own.
Love your TAE hosts & organizers,
Mindy, Bethany, Lexy
Lynne & Annie
